BlindSite is continuing to build momentum in the United States, with Shelby Township Police Department becoming the second U.S. law enforcement agency to acquire Smytec’s forensic imaging technology.
The deployment comes within the first year of BlindSite entering the market and represents another important milestone in Smytec’s international growth.
Shelby Township Police Department will use BlindSite to support its crime scene investigation and evidence documentation capabilities. The technology is designed to help forensic teams visualise and capture evidence using non-contact, non-destructive imaging methods.
Smytec will work closely with the department as BlindSite is introduced into its existing investigative workflows, providing the training and support needed to help users apply the technology confidently in operational settings.
